Although IXWebHosting advertises that they don’t deal with long-term contracts, they do offer them to their customers. And, then they screw these customers over. That’s what this IXWebHosting review will focus on. Many people have complained about this company’s practices, stating that they’re doing certain things that could potentially border on illegal. One person who used to be a customer, in particular, mentioned that the company altered the contract that he’d agreed to. And, they did this just a week before the contract expired. They pushed the price up quite a bit and changed some of the terms of the contract. And, they have a policy that prevents customers from opting out of a contract within the last week of its service. This goes against their Terms of Use contract, making it both unethical and illegal.
This wouldn’t be such a big deal if this were the only instance of such a complaint, but there are many people who say that similar things have happened to them. This is what makes IXWebHosting so undesirable.
